This spring, I had the honor of taking part in Virginia Tablescapes 2026, Little Hands Virginia's fourth annual signature fundraising event held at The Foundry at Tredegar.
This year's theme, "Design Through the Ages," brought together designers from across Virginia and beyond to each tell the story of a distinct design era through a singularly designed tablescape.
More than 700 guests joined in the celebration, and every ticket helped support Little Hands Virginia's mission: distributing up to 100,000 diapers a month to families in need, and serving over 10,000 children each year.

My table, The Language of Craft: Tea with Victoria and Morris, was inspired by a recent trip to London and the Cotswolds, where I found myself completely taken with the Arts and Crafts era. It started in nineteenth century Britain as a pushback against industrialization, championing handmade craftsmanship, natural materials, and pattern pulled straight from nature, the same values William Morris built his whole career on. I paired that with the formality of Victorian tea service, and my table leaned into layered textiles, botanical print, and pieces that are meant to be touched and lived with.
