Our home was recently featured in House Beautiful, and sharing these spaces with you feels particularly meaningful. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying that designers make the hardest clients, and there is so much truth to that. When it’s your own home, every decision carries such weight. It is the most personal work a designer will ever do, and in many ways the most clarifying. The same instincts and principles we bring to every client project were put to the test here, and I learned something new about my own design philosophy in the process.
